My name is Lisa Luera, or to my clients, “Coach Lisa.” I am a marine wife and mother of three girls. I have been active and healthy pretty much my entire life. After I had my third daughter, the weight did not fall off like it did before. I was determined to get back in shape, but I needed help. I joined a local, family-owned gym and I made friends with the owners and trainers at the gym. They taught me a lot about my body and what “healthy” really meant. My passion for health and wellness grew and it was in those training moments that I realized I wanted to share what I learned with others!
I made the decision to get certified in personal training and in nutrition to give my clients the sustainable lifestyle they needed to be healthy. Nutrition and exercise are two sides of the same coin when it comes to building a healthier, stronger you. Just as a car needs the right fuel to run efficiently, your body requires proper nutrition to perform at its best during workouts and to recover afterward. Consuming a balanced diet rich in proteins, healthy fats, and complex carbohydrates provides the energy needed for exercise and the building blocks for muscle repair and growth. Pairing this with a consistent exercise routine, including strength training and cardiovascular workouts, maximizes your body's potential to transform. It's a synergistic relationship where each element supports and enhances the other, leading to improved health and fitness outcomes.
I train at a local gym in the Willowbrook area in Houston. I offer private training and have a circuit class that is great for all levels of fitness. I am very passionate about helping people who are in the beginning stages of their fitness journey. Let me help you make the healthy choice the easy choice!
